Digestive enzymes should only be taken with food. Our bodies secrete digestive enzymes when we eat to break down the food. Therefore, only take a digestive enzyme with food. Not before food or after food. I recommend eating 1 to 2 bites of your meal and taking the enzyme then.

CONTRAINDICATIONS AND WARNINGS

INTERACTIONS

Since H2-blocking drugs and proton pump inhibitors block the production of stomach HCl, these drugs should not be used concurrently with Bio-Gest.
