Biography of Dr Kimberly Wiseman

I am Dr Kimberly Wiseman, a
Bastyr University
graduate with a degree as a naturopathic physician.
I graduated with a BA in Arts and Science from the University of Missouri in Columbia.
I live in southern Missouri with my husband and three children.
My maiden name was Kimberly Cummings.
and the rest is history.
My basic philosophy as a Naturopathic Physician is our bodies have inherent intelligence that we as humans will most likely never completely understand or be able to replicate.
Our emergency medicine in the United States is the finest
available in the world, however, our world rank for overall
health is very poor and yet we spend more money on it by far
than any other country.
This discrepancy is in part due to manipulation of our foods and their nutritional content, the environment we live in, and the disruption of the natural healing process with, at times, unnecessary medical interventions.
There are distinct and definite advantages with progress
as a whole, however, it is well know that there will be
individuals who will suffer from that very progress.
Naturopathic Medicine has a greater awareness that we should focus on quality as much as quantity.
Naturopathy and the related professions are a vehicle that
allow for an increase in quality that is essential to all
of our well being.
I, Dr Kimberly Wiseman, thank Bastyr University for the opportunity it has given me and the education I received.
My purpose with this medicine is to help people who are interested in improving their situation.
