The bad cholesterol takes the cholesterol to our body and deposits it into our arteries. The good cholesterol, HDL, takes it from our arteries to our liver to be excreted into our GI tract.
There have been studies that indicate reduction in hypertension, or high blood pressure, when we eat omega-3 fatty acids.
