Leaky Gut Syndrome

Leaky gut syndrome, which is essentially increased intestinal permeability, is very interesting because our intestines serve two primary functions.

They allow nutrients that are desirable to pass through our intestines into our bloodstream.

Second, they prevent things from being absorbed into our bloodstream that are harmful.

This is a very delicate balancing act that our bodies perform.

Sometimes, actually very often, this balance is disturbed.

The use of antibiotics, low fiber diets, refined and processed foods, and improperly digested food disturbs this balance, resulting in an overly inflammatory situation in our intestines.

The recommendations for restoring balance in our intestines includes eating primarily a whole foods diet, supporting your immune system with nutrients to avoid the need for antibiotics, using digestive enzymes if necessary, taking a probiotic and healing the intestinal permeability with Perma-clear.

Perma-clear containes l-glutamine, N-Acetylglucosamine, Saccharomyces, Lactobacillus, Quercetin, and Ginger.
