Treating Yeast Infections
Treating Yeast Infections! Candida infections, also known as yeast infections, often involve various parts of the body including the skin and mucous membranes.
In rare cases, a systemic infection can be life threatening. This webpage is not meant to diagnosis, treat, cure or mitigate any disease.
However hopefully it will help when you are deciding on what options you have about your health.
When there is an overgrowth of the normal intestinal inhabitant Candida albicans, our bodies become
dysfunctional.
In other words, we all have Candida living in our intestinal tract. This is just part of life, however there are times and circumstances that result in an overgrowth of yeast in our GI tract which ultimately leads to health problems.
Absorption into the blood stream of the entire yeast pathogen, parts of the yeast bud, or toxins from the yeast can cause a myriad of problems.
The systems most often effected from excessive yeast are:
Gastrointestinal Tract
Genitourinary System
Endocrine System
Nervous System
Immune System
Naturopathy
is based on finding the cause. Asking what is the underlying condition that "allows" the current health problem?
Candida albicans is normal gastrointestinal flora in the healthy individual.
When our
immune system
and our
digestion
is optimal, Candida does not flourish to the point of infection.
Simply taking Rx or even natural anti-candida therapies does not result in a long-term reduction in the Candida.
The
reason
for the Candida overgrowth must be corrected to restore long-term health!
The good news is this can be done relatively easily and will likely result in improved over-all health!
